Year of birth: 1972

Education: In 1994, graduated from Kharkiv State Academy of Railway Transport majoring in Railway Construction, Railway Track and Track Facilities.

PhD in Engineering Science since 2000. He defended his PhD thesis at the specialized scientific board D 64.820.02 in specialty 05.23.01 - Building Constructions, Buildings and Structures. The subject of the thesis was “Load-bearing capacity of rectangular steel-concrete beams reinforced with a steel trussing rod”. His research advisor was Dr.Sci.Eng., Professor E. Chykhladze.

Doctor of Engineering Science since 2016. He defended his doctoral thesis at the specialized scientific board D 64.820.02 in specialty 05.23.01 – Building Constructions, Buildings and Structures. The subject of the thesis was “Structural analysis and design of composite and steel and concrete constructions”. His research advisor was Dr.Sci.Eng., Professor E. Chykhladze.

Scope of scientific interests: optimal design of steel-concrete and composite constructions, calculations for force and thermal impact.

Deputy Chairman of the specialized scientific board D 64.820.02 for defense of doctoral and PhD theses in specialties “Building Constructions, Buildings and Structures” and “Constructional material and products”; member of the editorial board of the collection of research papers of the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport; member of the specialized scientific board D 64.707.01 at the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine; expert of the section of the Scientific board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the professional field “Aircraft and Space Engineering and Transport”; corresponding member of the Transport Academy of Ukraine; certified expert on engineering survey of buildings and constructions; head of the Transport Construction Diagnosis Centre at the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport.

Author of 120 scientific publications and teaching materials. Obtained 8 patents. The research advisor of 3 PhDs.

For his personal achievements in research, in 2005 he received G. Proskura scholarship from Kharkiv Regional State Administration (technical science) and was awarded with the diploma in the category “Young Scientist” of the Regional Competition “Higher Education in Kharkiv Region – Best Names”. In 1998-1999 he was a grant-aided engineer at Emch+Berger, Bern, Switzerland, within the cooperation program with the Swiss Academy of Technical Sciences (The Branco Weiss Fellowship, Switzerland)

Awards and acknowledgements. Awarded with the Diploma of Merit (2010) and a wristwatch (2006) from the Director General of the Ukrainian Railway (Ukrzalizanytsya). In 2008 he was awarded a commendation of the Minister of Transport and Communication of Ukraine, in 2015 - a commendation of the Director of Odessa Railway, in 2016 - a commendation of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.
