Biography:
Born on September 10, 1963 in Kharkiv;
1980-1985 - student of the Construction Faculty of the Kharkiv Institute of Railway Engineers;
1985, 87-90 - Head of the Technical Control Department, Chief Technologist (1988), Chief Engineer (1989), Construction Details Plant of the Southern Transport Construction Trust of the Ministry of Transport Construction of the USSR;
1985-87 - in real time military service;
1990-2002 - postgraduate student, assistant (1993), docent (associate professor, 1995) of the Building Materials and Products Department of the Kharkiv State Technical University of Construction and Architecture (until 1994 Kharkiv Engineering and Construction Institute);
2002 - at the Building Materials and Structures Department of the Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport: doctoral student, docent (associate professor, 2005), professor - head of the department (since 2006)
Main directions of scientific research: development of theoretical and experimental bases of composition, structure, properties, destruction, corrosion, durability, technology of concrete and reinforced concrete, restoration of operational properties and protection of building structures and railway track
Author of more than 310 scientific works, including 15 monographs, 25 patents for inventions, 18 educational and methodological developments, including 8 textbooks, many normative documents: national standards, state and industry building codes, technical specifications of Ukraine, instructions, rules of Ukrainian Railways
