Education: Candidate of Philology, Speciality 10.02.04 The Germanic Languages, Associate Professor of the Foreign Languages Department, ДЦ №010415. The subject of the thesis is The affixal expression of connotation in the English Language.

Scope of scientific interests: Investigated affixes in modern English and classified them into connotative groups in accordance with their influence on associative connotations relative to their root stems. Proved the significance of the theoretical comprehension of grammatical, lexical and connotative meanings of affixes influencing connotation of lexical units on the base of the general orientation of linguistics on the integral comprehensive study of words. Specified the research areas of words by combining their denotative and connotative aspects, engaged in studying connotation as the complex dynamic phenomenon of linguistics specifying the whole unity of word connotations. Analyzed connotative differences of stems in the interlingual comparison in order to improve possible ways to express connotations and discovered the ethnic specific essence of the connotation phenomenon in the affixes systems of English and German. Conducted the connotative analysis of word-forming elements of the language with their complex study and subsequent classification of affixes into two basic groups: linguistic and colloquial. Provided the first description of connotative synonymic rows and specified interlinguistic differences in English and German on the material of affixes.  Practicing translator. Head of a translation team within the TEMPUS international program encouraging popularization of scientific achievements made by Ukrainian academics in the European environment. Author of literary translations published by the Mikko publishing house. Co-author of a Ukrainian-Russian-English-French-Polish phrasebook in rail engineering. Author of syllabi for English classes for employees of the Southern Railway within Euro 2012. 

Author of 30 scientific publications and teaching materials, which 21 articles and highlights, 9 study guides for students, two textbooks (co-author).

Member of international community TESOL - Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages in Ukraine.
