The department does not restrict its activities strictly to teaching. The traditional event of the department which dates back over dozens of years is “The Day of the Department” in which both lecturers and students of our University take part.

“Speaking Club” is very popular among the students and the lecturers of the university.

Every year an English-speaking forum “Education crossing borders” is held at our Department. The participants of the forum discuss acute problems of education and the choice of professions which are the matters of special interest to school leavers of Kharkiv district and region.
