The Department keeps in contact with the Language Centre of Nuremberg University (publications of joint scientific works – V.I. Hoverdovskyi), Lviv Stavropigion University (Resource Centre of Scientific Research), with the Department of English Language, the Department of German and French Languages of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, O.M. Beketov NUUE, H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University,  National Academy For Public Administation under The President Of Ukraine (on-the-job trainings, scientific and methodological conferences, seminars, etc.)

Lecturers of the Department participate in seminars and conferences among English lecturers of Ukrainian-American Association “TESOL in Ukraine”.

The Department works closely with Southern Railway. A group of authors created a Ukrainian-Russian-English-German-French-Polish phrase-book for railway transport employees which received approval during the training of different railway employees for Euro 2012. Lecturers of the Department helped Southern Railway during the meetings with foreign guests.

The Department takes part in the international program TEMPUS which includes the development and translation of curriculum documents for creating open transportation space.
