The department participates in the development of educational documentation on the TEMPUS IV program http://kart.edu.ua/tempus-iv on the topic of high-speed traffic on the railway transport of Ukraine, maintains close ties with production, cooperates with research and design institutes of Ukraine, provides highly qualified consultations, conducts technical expertise. The industrial practice assigned to the students of the department is organized at such railway stations of Ukraine as Osnova, Kharkov-Sorting, Kupyansk-Sorting, Darnitsa, Odessa-Sorting, Lviv and many others.
