Education: In 2006, she graduated from the Ukrainian State Academy of Railway Transport majoring in “Organization of transportation and transport management (railway transport)”. Since 2011 she has been a full-time postgraduate student, since 2014 she has been a part-time postgraduate student at the Department of Freight and Commercial Management.

Scope of scientific activity – improvement of intermodal and combined freight transportation technologies.

Author of more than 40 scientific works. In her teaching and methodological activity, assistant lecturer O. Shapatina published and prepared for publication 44 teaching and scientific works, including 35 scientific works and 9 instruction workbooks.
